Surprisingly good,
I first found Go Picnic meals by accident in an airport…now I’m on a quest to try each variety! This is the second I’ve tried and I really did like it. The turkey stick has a nice consistency and flavor (not tough and greasy like a Slim Jim) and the PoP chips are really tasty (again, flavorful, but not greasy). The Baja fruit and nut mix is a good combination of sweet and spicy and the dark chocolate bar is a nice finish to the little meal. I will say that you DO need a bottle of water (or some other cold drink) to wash this down. Even though the sodium content isn’t listed as being high (340 mg for the entire box), I was left thirsty and needed to supplement my juice box (what can I say – I was packing light!).
I think the combination of slightly spicy nut mix, turkey stick and BBQ chips left my palate a bit parched. Otherwise, I think this is great and would highly recommend it as an on-the-go lunch or snack.

|Delicious Barbecue Chips,
This GoPicnic snack box was one of the first I tried. I really liked the Pop Chips that are not baked or fried and have half the fat or regular potato chips. How they are made is a mystery but they are especially good in the barbecue flavor. This box also contains one turkey snack stick, a bag of dried apricots, a very interesting fruit and nut mix that is sweet and spicy and some of the best organic dark chocolate I’ve ever tried. The foods in this box do not contain any trans fats, high fructose corn syrup or MSG. They are also gluten-free except that the Pop Chips are made on equipment that processes wheat products.

|Great solution for a delayed flight,
I am at the Sacramento airport right now, waiting for word on when we can board. I was starving, so I shelled out six bucks for one of these boxes. Everything for sale at an airport is expensive; these are no exception. The snacks inside are terrific! I really want to be able to purchase the Baja nut mix on its own, the flavor is absolutely wonderful. I knocked off a star because the turkey stick is pretty puny. Even with the little stick, I’m feeling much less cranky. I would recommend this product to any traveller. Do yourself a favor and buy some in advance to save some money. The lack of a drink makes this product TSA safe.
