Robust designs and high performance is what to expect from Squirrel Daddy products. Our lower vise block will work with an AR-15 lower receiver that is stripped or a fully assembled. You may work on the top side or bottom side of the receiver without removing the block from the vise. With our design only the bottom part of the block will get marked up from the vise jaws, leaving the precision machined upper part undamaged so you will have a perfect fit every time.
Good Lower Vice Block,
This is an good solid vice block. The fit is a bit tight on my Spikes lower but I’m guessing with some use it will ease in a bit easier. For the money I don’t see a reason why not to buy it if you are doing work on your own AR platform. I was looking at the Brownells upper and lower block set but the total cost plus shipping was just way too much IMO. This plus the UAG Upper block and having Amazon Prime saved me a good amount of money over the Brownells set. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a well priced and made vice block.

Great Vice Block!!!,
After reading the reviews for other vice blocks I decided to go with this one. For the right price I received a great vice block that secured firmly into my AR-15. There is no play in the magazine well, so as soon as I tightened down the vice, my gun was not going anywhere.

AR-15 Lower Receiver Magazine Vise Block,
Being made of plastic I was initially concerned about its strength for wrenching on an AR-15 lower receiver while clamped in a vise. I was pleasantly surprised by its strength and how cleanly it locks into the magazine well; had no issues removing/reinstalling the collapsible buttstock on a tactical rifle. I highly recommend it for those who do light-duty gunsmithing on their AR-style rifles.
