    Ball canning jars are absolutely consistent and reliable in quality. This is my favorite size jar for all my home canning. With a family of 4 who all love salsa and jams it just doesn’t make sense to can any smaller and this size fits in the Ball Home Canning Discovery Kit basket that I use for small batch canning. 3 jars fits perfectly.

    These are the regular mouth sized jars, and the jars and jar bands are re-usable as long as they are in good condition. Replace your lids because the sealant can’t be re-used. Lids for this type of jar are very easy to find since it is the most popular jar type in the USA.

    Jars made in the US. I’ve processed them for up to 40 minutes and have never had a problem with them.

    Yep, they are exactly what you’d expect. Even made some redneck-wine glasses out of some by gluing a candlestick to the bottom.

    I’ve been using these jars for years. I know you supposed to use the lid once but I reused them again and again. These jars are build solid. I accidentally dropped one or two and they never broken.
