This knife arrived 3 days before the scheduled delivery, and man its a sweet knife.
Box contents:
– Packaged VERY well
– coupons, return instructions (30 day return policy and they include the paperwork to send it back), and a magazine FILLED with knifes, personal protection gear, etc.
– Knife (I would hope they remembered this!)
– Sheath (in its own wrapping)
The knife came decently sharp. I was always told if you can cut through a single piece of paper (from the edge, not just stabbing it ha) smoothly and it doesn’t catch or pull on the paper, you have a sharp knife. this one was sharp.
The weight of the knife is GREAT. The grip is perfect size (I’m 6’0″ 180lb man). It feels very well constructed. The knife also came slightly oiled to keep the blade fresh and clean (thanks guys!).
The sheath is made from a hard plastic. the straps are good quality. The knife “clicks” into the sheath and seems very secure. I believe someone else mentioned here you cannot simply mount the knife around your ankle. The sheath is made to carry the knife around your belt. I’m sure you could find another strap for your ankle but I don’t know how sturdy this would be.
All in all, VERY happy with this knife. I’m a person who reads every review of an item before purchasing. this was the best knife I could find on Amazon around the $25 mark. If you like me, and your sick of reading reviews, BUY THIS KNIFE.

|Best knife for the Price!,
Purchased the Cold Steel GI Tanto to use while camping. It batons wood better than any knife I have owned. I recommend one with Secure-Ex sheath. Blade WILL rust, so keep coated with light film of oil. Very sharp out of box. Almost unbreakable. Check out You-tube videos on this one!

This knife is a great value. It’s aggressive looking and according to destruction tests it holds up better than knives that cost 15x more. Make sure to get the knife with the Secure-ex sheath as it is far superior to the normal nylon sheath. Make sure to shop around Amazon to find the knife that includes it.
