Nothing wreaks havoc on an athlete more than the constant burn and slow torture of skin-to-skin and clothing-to-skin friction, blisters and irritation. While other wax-based products melt and dissipate after 45 minutes of activity, our allantoin and silicone-based 5 Hour No-Chafe Stick has a higher temperature threshold, which goes the distance to help prevent the problems of chafing and blistering. Our paraben-free, vitamin-and-antioxidant-enriched formula is perfect for keeping your skin fric
Works like it should; great price,
My husband, with whom I share this account, wrote the following review: I chose this product in haste, mostly because the Body Glide wasn’t available for a decent price for Prime shipping (and i needed it quick). I was very surprised at how well it worked. Don’t know about the 5 hour thing, but I used it for the 1/2 marathon I ran Saturday (finished in just under two hours) and there was absolutely no chafing. Used on both my chest and upper legs (my two problem areas) and neither had any chafing whatsoever. I should also mention that I sweat a great deal, so this product was probably tested to its limits. I would highly recommend this product to anyone needing protection from exercise chafing. I would only say test it on longer runs before relying on it in a race significantly longer than two hours.

Anti-Chafe Stick,
Its a great product that does what it says. On a 5.5 hour bike ride from Sacramento to San Francisco this stuff held up. I applied it liberally to both my clean dry skin and to the chamois. Skin and Chamois did not absorb it which seems to be the most logical explanation to my comfort after such a long time in the saddle.

Not as good as Body Glide,
I bought the Mission Anti-Chafe Stick on the preponderance of good reviews here on Amazon, so I think I should probably chip in my two cents.
First of all: Any product is better than no product. If you’re looking at this review, you’re probably already aware of the need for an anti-chafe product. No doubt, you’ll be better off with Mission Anti-Chafe Stick than nothing at all for your 15-mile run. Kudos also to Mission for making a product that is less expensive than Body Glide.
On first use, it does go on more smoothly than Body Glide. Indeed, Body Glide seems hard as a rock compared to the Mission Anti-Chafe. So, yes — it was much more pleasant to apply, especially to sensitive bits.
But alas, the strength is also the weakness of the Mission Anti-Chafe. It goes on smoothly, but it never really gets dry. It stays a little bit tacky. It’s kind of like leaving cocoa butter on your skin. Ultimately, this diminishes its efficacy. Plus, after your exercise, you end up being a little sticky some places you might not want to be sticky.
I wanted to like it, given its price and comfort of use. But Body Glide is the clear choice for me.
