Rothco’s Type III 550 lb. Paracord is 100{0e3fbd49920d66d312335c9ab31e3d7b441ff7521e58af8d4d0648ba5d548198} nylon, 5/32″ in diameter and has a 7 strand core. It made by a certified US Government contractor and has a 550 lb test strength.

    The 50′ bundle comes as shown in a shrink wrap package. I checked to see that the each of the 7 strands in the mantle also each have 2 twisted strands.

    I got the safety orange for higher visibility. I split it for for 2 emergency kits for marking and guy lines. I should have bought 100′. Remember to seal the ends.

    good paracord, shipped fast and nice and bright. I used it to make custom lanyards for my emergency flashlight in my emergency kit. And its the 7 strand stuff, good buy!!
