If you find yourself stuck in a place high up because zombies or some other form of danger is beneath you, you could lower yourself down with this paracord once the danger had passed or was eliminated. That is unless of course you weigh more than 550lbs. In which case you’re probably awesome enough without the paracord considering you climbed to a high place in the first place.

Can never go wrong with 550 Cord, August 24, 2011

550 cord – one of the world’s greatest innovations for cordage! Just bought 100ft worth last week with the intent to place into my home “safety pack”. I love paracord for its strength, lightweight, and durability! What more can one say? For those who have used paracord to any extent, you know what I mean. It makes for a great last resort cordage for hoisting or rappelling (yes, I have done both. Though I don’t suggest you make paracord your first choice of rope), I use about 15 feet for my clothesline, I’ve made several “survival bracelets” as gifts, use it on a good portion of my bush crafting tools, and so much more! Great buy! I’ve finally purchased 1,000ft – so I am set for a good long while!

    9/14/12 Update:

Still a big fan of paracord, but beware, if you are purchasing for specific colors (I make and sell survival bracelets so my customers want specific colors) be sure that this company sends you the right color.

Also note, Rothco’s paracord is NOT the same kind of paracord used in the military (I know this from experience). Still good quality, especially if color does not matter to you.
