The fastest deploying and most compact key chain pepper spray is now manufactured and sold exclusively by SABRE RED! Spitfire’s ergonomic patented design has become a favorite of pepper spray users for over a decade by deploying with less effort and with greater accuracy from your hip or over your shoulder. Weight of the Spitfire is 0.21 ounces with approximately 8 bursts at 6-8 feet in a cone spray pattern with a point of aim to the center of face. Available in black, red and purple.
Good design, but has a short range,
I like the design. It’s very compact, it slips easily into my pant pocket, it cradles in my hand, and it fires only when I deliberately want it to due to the way you have to press and move the button at the same time. It’s very easy to use. I wanted a pocket pepper spray for walking my defenseless little dog. Sometimes we come across large dogs off-leash that will suddenly approach and I want to be able to disrupt an attack if a big dog gets aggressive. I can grab this sprayer from my pocket and fire in less than a second.
The instructions say to be within 8 feet of the target when you fire. I would say mine goes about 6 feet before it forms into a cloud and stops moving forward. I was hoping for more range because my leash is 16 feet long. Having no experience with pepper spray, I guess I assumed the spray would be a stream of liquid rather than a spray of mist. The cloud it makes expands out to about 2 feet wide and lasts a couple of seconds. Even though I was never close to the cloud, I got a taste of the residual fumes as it dissipated and it was like fire in my mouth.
The instructions say it makes about 8 sprays.

Awesome size and weight,
Luckily my wife has not had to use this yet. It’s size and weight are perfect for her keychain. I now feel more comfortable with her being out and about knowing she has something like this to defend against and kind of bad guys.

Best I’ve Found Among The Many Portable Pepper Sprayers,
What I like about the Spitfire is that there is no case to open, nothing to twist, no button that’s difficult to find: just push the button up and then down and it sprays. You can always be ready to use it just by having it in your hand. Only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is that over time it came come unscrewed from the base and will be need to be tightened occasionally.
